Artist Statement
Lately, my work has been all about the interplay between colour and shape. I'm obsessed with the creative process—I could spend hours in the studio just experimenting, chasing that perfect composition that grabs my attention and won't let go.
Finding the right colour feels like solving a puzzle. Sometimes it's layering teal over and over, adding a bit more white, then second-guessing myself—"Wait, maybe it needs more blue!"—only to realize, "Nope, it's gotta be greener!" It's this unpredictable journey that keeps me hooked.
Each piece becomes this conversation between what I plan and what actually happens. I get to play with how colours and shapes push against each other, creating these moments of tension and harmony that surprise even me. The process is just as important as the final piece—maybe more so.
